Wyandotte County Lake Park – Kansas City, KS
Location: Shelter 11 (east side of dam)
- Lunch will be provided for all pre-registered volunteers

Its trail building season and we have a lot of great single track planned. If you’ve never been to Wyandotte County Lake Park, this is a perfect opportunity to see what WyCo has to offer. Put those volunteer skills to practical use and get a workout while you’re at it!
We will be performing trail maintenance on the existing bridle trails and building new sections of hiking and biking trails. There will be varying levels of work from moderate to mildly strenuous. Other activities may include removal of invasive plants, collecting trash, moving brush, rocks, shoveling dirt, hoeing and leveling, etc. All ages are welcome and there should be something for everyone to do.
All tools will be provided. No power tools will be needed. All participants are encouraged to dress appropriately, wearing long pants, leather boots, eye protection, hats, gloves etc. We will be working in undeveloped forested areas so bug repellant is encouraged. It is possible to be exposed to ticks and poison ivy. All participants will be required to sign a participation release of liability waiver.
Please contact Jim Megerson 913-416-0617, firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested or would like additional information.
See you on the Trails
