We here at PEMBA are excited to announce that we have entered into a long-term agreement to represent Patagonia Footwear in the Midwest. In our line of work, it’s rare that find a company to work with that is so close to the core of what you believe. Patagonia Footwear completely aligns with our values, ethics, and aesthetic, we believe the line is well positioned for the needs of the Outdoor Retail specialty store.
In addition to shared values, Patagonia Footwear and PEMBAserves are also closely aligned with our approach to growing business. Patagonia Footwear has a deep quiver of marketing brand-tools that are very similar to our own, with opportunities for field events in support of local outdoor advocacy groups, a strong on-line presence, and a social component to business operations. Patagonia was a founding member of 1% for the Planet, and PEMBAserves was the first rep agency in the country to join the organization.
The Fall 2012 collection from Patagonia Footwear features an expanded women’s and men’s casual and winter presentation. There have been extensions to popular series such as the Tin Shed (now available for women), the Maui (for men), the Better Clog (for women), and for both men and women a greatly expanded Advocate collection. There are new colors of other existing models for fall, also. All in all, the line looks great, and has shown very well.
PEMBAserves, Inc will represent Patagonia Footwear in the states of Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, North and South Dakota, and Nebraska, as well as the UP of Michigan. Our agreement is retroactive to the beginning of 2012, and for all intents we have been working with the line since the start of the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market. We have hit the ground running, and we still have some ground to cover as we’re a bit behind for the season.
While we have met with some dealers we still have many yet to see. We will be at the second MWSRA show in Madison from February 14th through the 16th.
